Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Dr. Gina Merritt, MBA and Northern Real Estate Urban Ventures, LLC (“we”). This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect, and when

When you fill in a form. The contact and speaking-inquiry forms ask for your name, email address and a message, and may ask for details about your event or project. The email signup boxes and the GroundUp pop-up ask for your email address and optionally your name. We store what you submit in a database so we can respond to you and, if you asked to hear about GroundUp, send you information about it.

When you book a session. Payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never see or store your card number. We receive your name, email address, the session you booked and the amount paid. Scheduling is handled through Google Calendar’s appointment booking, which collects the name and email you enter there.

When you browse. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not collect personal information; it records the page, the country, the device type and the referring site, and nothing that identifies you.

Your browser’s local storage. When you close the GroundUp pop-up, the site remembers that choice in your browser so it doesn’t show again for a while. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not send you marketing email unless you asked for it by signing up.

Email

If you sign up to hear about GroundUp, we send email through Brevo, our email provider. Every such email includes a way to stop receiving them, and you can also write to us at the address below. Replies to a form you submitted are not marketing, and come from a person.

Who else sees your information

Only the services that make the site work, each for its own function: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (the database that stores form submissions), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email) and Google (calendar bookings). Each has its own privacy policy governing what it holds.

How long we keep it

Form submissions and email signups are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed to respond to you. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for financial records.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@nreuv.com and we’ll respond. To stop receiving GroundUp email, use the link in any message or write to the same address.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted here.
